Ian comes to the STTG as the delegate for Stratford Voice (representing some 600 members) of which he is a committee member.
Also now retired from approximately 50 years as a Human Factors Engineer, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics.
He is also still Secretary of an international ISO expert working group, ISO TC159/SC4WG9, specialising in haptic and tactile interaction, a post held on behalf of the UK’s BSI for the past 10 years, helping to write standards and guidelines in that area.
